    Law firm assists teachers with funding for school supplies and more

    LAS VEGAS – De Castroverde Law Group is a good corporate citizen and developed the De Castroverde Law Group Teacher Appreciation award last year.  In an effort to assist struggling Clark County School District teachers with funding challenges, winners receive support for classroom supplies as well as a gift card for their personal use.

    After receiving more than 100 fall 2018 entries, the following winners were announced:

    • Grand prize
      Tari Smethurst
      Sandy S. Miller Elementary School
      Prize: $750 for classroom supplies, plus a $250 Amazon gift card
    • Runner-up
      Collen Chattaway
      Arbor View High School
      Prize: $500 for classroom supplies, plus a $200 Amazon gift card
    • Honorable mention
      Kristi O’Donnell
      John W. Bonner Elementary School
      Prize: $250 for classroom supplies, plus a $100 Amazon gift card
