LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank has promoted John Whitehead to vice president and small business relationship manager, where he will oversee a portfolio of small business clients. Whitehead will focus on generating community awareness and relationships regarding small business banking products and services throughout Southern Nevada.

Whitehead has been with Nevada State Bank for five years and has more than 15 years of commercial and private lending experience. He previously served as an underwriter with The Private Bank by Nevada State Bank.
“John is a great addition to our team,” said Megan Comfort, senior vice president and small business manager for Nevada State Bank. “His knowledge and experience with the bank will allow him to successfully serve our small business clients.”
Whitehead is a native of New Jersey, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Rider University, where he double majored in finance and management with a minor in law. An active member of the community, he dedicates his time outside of work by volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House, Clark County School District, and serving on the board for his housing development.
