    Sir Paul McCartney, the living legend himself is coming to Las Vegas for one night only and a concert at T-Mobile Arena  that will take most everyone back to the good old days. For tickets, phone 1-866-983-4279.

    Celebrate America’s independence in historic Virginia City. Throughout the day, Virginia City offers an authentic, home-town Independence  Day experience, raffle and auction, Comstock Cowboys Second Amendment concert, old-west shootouts, shopping, train rides, and a spectacular fireworks display at night.

    Las Vegas celebrates Independence Day with fireworks, parties, parades, barbecues, picnics, and concerts throughout the day, too many to single out individual ones. Many resorts and casinos hold special events. Nighttime fireworks displays at numerous locations.

    Western Folklife Center: Let’s Dance

    Elko, June 27, 6-8 p.m.

    The evening begins with dance lessons with a featured instructor and style at 6 p.m. in the Pioneer Saloon of the Western Folklife Center. Open dancing beings at 7 p.m. Admission is only $5. For all dancers beginner to advanced.
