    Hop & Bop Easter Egg hunt

    Las Vegas. April 20. Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

    Guests will enjoy a variety of things such as a Resource Fair, games, music and dancing, picnic options, Easter Basket Raffle, a visit with the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg hunts for children with special needs and their siblings, maximum of two siblings per family. Phone 702-570-7400

    Free Easter Egg hunts will happen every 10 minutes during morning and afternoon times for kids ages 1 to 10. Children will be called by age groups: 1-3 years, 4-6 years, and 7-10 years. Registration for egg hunts begin at 8 a.m. and last until noon. Only 50 kids will partake in each hunt.

    Community Easter Egg Dash at Idlewild Park

    Reno. April 20, 11 a.m.

    A free Community Easter Egg Dash for kids preschool through 6th grade. Games, prizes, bouncy houses, candy and over 50,000 candy-filled plastic eggs hosted by The Bridge Church and Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Phone 775-323-7141

    Sponsored by Hope Community Church, Reno. Pancakes at 9 a.m., egg dash at 10 a.m.  Separate areas for different age groups up to 5th grade.

    Coach 17 and the road to Promontory

    Carson City. Nevada State Railroad Museum. Thursday April 25, 6 p.m.

    A presentation surrounding Coach 17, the only piece of rolling stock still in existence from the May 10, 1869 Golden Spike Ceremony at Promontory Point, Utah that completed the first transcontinental railroad.  The talk will be followed by a panel discussion.
