UNLV Lee Business School Dean Brent Hathaway, UNLV sophomore Judith Fuentes-Retolaza, Nevada State Bank EVP & Statewide Corporate Banking Manager Shannon Petersen, Nevada State Bank President & CEO Terry Shirey, UNLV sophomore Constandina Ciulla, and UNLV sophomore Julia Aronov.

Nevada State Bank executives sat down with three of their 2018-2019 Presidential Scholarship awardees, Julia Aronov, Constandina Ciulla and Judith Fuentes-Retolaza, for lunch and a conversation about their futures. These most recent recipients wowed both Shannon Petersen, EVP corporate banking, and Terry Shirey, president & CEO of Nevada State Bank with their rigorous schedules, community endeavors, college courses and networks they’re already building for their careers.

“These young women are extremely impressive—both with their confident statures and their clear plans for the future. It is always an honor to meet the scholars that the Foundation selects—UNLV is providing excellent opportunities for their students and we truly enjoy getting to know these future leaders,” shared Shirey.
