    Ely’s Christmas Parade

    Ely, Nov. 24, 5-7 p.m.

    Ely kicks off the holiday season with a free parade and city tree lighting with activities in Whiteside Park. Enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or cider, cookies and carolers. Activities right after in Whiteside Park. The theme this year is “End of the Road Christmas.”

    Polar Express Train Ride – V&T Depot

    Carson City, Through Dec. 31,  5-10 p.m.

    During the holiday season, characters, entertainment, and Santa bring the story to life, with a souvenir silver sleigh bell to remember the journey.     Magic of Christmas Parade

    Reno, Nov. 23, 11 a.m., South Virginia and East Plumb Lane

    A long-time tradition at Shoppers Square. Come to this free event and see holiday characters, marching bands, and more at Reno’s only Christmas parade. Santa Claus arrives by horse and sleigh. There’s also a Christmas tree lot run by Boy Scout Troop 107.

    Sparks 2018 Crafts For Christmas

    Nov. 23-25. Hours: Friday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday , 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nugget Casino Resort

    Crafts For Christmas will feature Christmas flower decorating demonstrations, crafts and holiday gifts, holiday carolers, entertainment, food, demonstrations, and much more.

    Las Vegas Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade

    Las Vegas, 6 p.m. each Friday and Saturday through Dec. 22

    Inspired by traditional holiday themes that are universally recognizable, this family-friendly spectacle is one you won’t want to miss. All shows are free and open to the general public. Festivities take place on Park Centre Drive.
