Special tribute will be paid to Gov. Brian Sandoval at a Nov. 13 dinner during the Nevada Governor’s Global Tourism Summit. The event is open to the public.

Gov. Sandoval, who will leave office in January, has been a strong supporter of the state’s tourism industry. The tribute dinner is part of the GGTS conference, but special pricing for those not attending GGTS will be available soon.
GGTS, the state’s top tourism industry event, runs Nov. 12-14 at the Silver Legacy at THE ROW in Reno. Register by Sept. 30 to take advantage of the $295 early bird rate, saving $55 on regular registration and $100 on on-site registration.
This year, the popular sales and media marketplaces will be combined into a single, 2.5-hour event, so participants have the opportunity to meet with both trade vendors and international media. Jay Baer, president of consulting firm Convince & Convert, will deliver the keynote address, heading up a schedule packed with professional seminars and networking opportunities. The full schedule is available here.
