Elko resident, Nevada State Assemblyman and Minority Rural Whip John Ellison received the endorsement from Nevada Right to Life, an organization that advocates on behalf of religious liberty and pro-life causes throughout the state and in the state legislature in Carson City. If Ellison wins his campaign and returns to Carson City, he will be the most senior representative for rural Nevada in the State Assembly.
“Your leadership, council and advocacy, on all life issues and religious liberty, were absolutely crucial,” said Melissa Clement, President of Nevada Right To Life. “We greatly appreciate the work, outreach, and the long hours you put in during the session dealing with life issues and advocating for the vulnerable. As such, Nevada Right to Life is pleased to endorse your current re-election to represent the people of Assembly District 33.”
“This endorsement reflects your commitment to strengthening culture of life from conception to natural death,” continued Clement. “I look forward to working with you in the future as we work to create a Nevada that welcomes life.”
“I am proud to have earned the endorsement of Nevada Right to Life and its members throughout my district and the entire state of Nevada,” Ellison said. “Religious persecution has no place in District 33, our state or anywhere throughout our great country. And I am proud to help protect the sanctity of life and help give a voice to those who are the most vulnerable among us, particularly the unborn.”
Ellison was first elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 2010. He is widely recognized as being one of the most effective advocates for the rural counties in Northeastern Nevada and small business owners across the state, with a proven record of keeping his campaign promises to his constituents.
