    Reno’s Chapel of the Bells closes

    Chapel of the Bells, which has been providing quicky weddings in Reno since 1962, has closed up shop. The business was purchased by Jacobs Entertainment about a year ago and the plan was to keep it open until 2019. But they reconsidered because of a lack of business.

    “I think we had a naïveté about us where we thought (the wedding) industry would continue to survive regardless,” 8

     

    3-year-old owner George Flint told the Reno Gazette Journal. “As it turns out that hasn’t been the case.”
