Chapel of the Bells, which has been providing quicky weddings in Reno since 1962, has closed up shop. The business was 
purchased by Jacobs Entertainment about a year ago and the plan was to keep it open until 2019. But they reconsidered because of a lack of business.
“I think we had a naïveté about us where we thought (the wedding) industry would continue to survive regardless,” 8
3-year-old owner George Flint told the Reno Gazette Journal. “As it turns out that hasn’t been the case.”
